Solitude is my friend Loved ones my strength Quiet all around Peace within Welcome to self quarantine! Slow down, introspect, Pray and meditate. Sing along and dance to your favourite track. Read that book, write your thoughts Watch a movie with family Talk and laugh a lot! Mould, sew and stitch, Draw, paint, sketch. Or just sleep for 8 hours straight. Work out and exercise Help with the mundane chores Lot to do at home No time to get bored! Talk to old friends Learn something new Bake a lovely cake And eat it too! Share ideas, not rumours Be careful with your sense of humour! A new hobby? Old ones are OK too. Oh yes, there's a lot to do. Binge on your favourite shows Make time for family and friends Don't forget to 'Take care' and to frequently wash your hands. Spare a thought for the selfless healers Risking their lives for us. As we sit back and relax Mother Nature bounces back. Let's sit tight and fight Lets care for everyone Say NO to negativity Once and for all. Today's harsh reality is an eye opener for all Be alert, don't panic. Do your bit ; don't ignore. Within these walls I rule. Its my home, not a jail. Let's introspect and look within.
