Real or fake??? (The Public Phone Booth Number - Part 14)

Disclaimer : I'm a huge KPop fan and you will come across names and photographs of KPop idols in most of my stories (The photographs and pics are downloaded from the internet and I do not have ANY intellectual property right over them). They are my muse and inspiration in so many ways. The incidents and characters are fictional and have no resemblance to any K pop idol in any manner.

Getting ready for bed, I left a message for Namjoon to meet me at the HQ at 8 next morning. My brain was working overtime and I was physically exhausted but mentally wide awake! I put on some soothing music, had a hot water bath and slept like a baby all night.

On my way to the HQ next morning I carefully put my phone in a ziplock bag as I spoke to Minnie. She was doing good and the check up had gone pretty well it seems. I hung up as I parked outside the HQ.

Namjoon was at his usual place among the various computers and gadgets, smiling at me as he handed me some more information on the Gomes brothers - their latest photographs and information on official documents like passports etc. I handed him my phone and Keith’s photograph.

I- Namjoon, check the fingerprints on my phone and find out whether this photograph is Keith or Lucas. How much time will it take?

NJ- About 15 minutes!

I- Okay, I will be at the Chief’s office.

The Chief carefully listened to me as I told him all I had found in the last 24 hours and he was impressed.

Chief- Jeon, you’re a one man army! What I understand is that you are sure that the Lucas you met is actually Keith and the unknown caller is the real Lucas! Evidence?

Namjoon burst through the doors and said, "Good morning Chief. Sir Jeon, the reports are here.”

I beckoned Namjoon to sit as I took out the newly printed images of Lucas and Keith Gomes and compared the so called photo of Keith. I smirked as I told Chief, "I was right! Lucas Gomes has a mole under his lips and a prominent scar on his left cheek according to his official picture and documents, which matches this photo. Keith Gomes has flawless skin except for a mole on his nose which I have seen on the man I met as Lucas. Officially, Keith Gomes is impersonating his brother and fooling everyone around which makes him a criminal!”

Chief- Jeon, I give you full authority as long as I have this imposter behind bars!

NJ(smiling)- Jeon Sir, your phone has fingerprints of Keith Gomes, not Lucas.

I looked at Chief and Namjoon and thanked them, getting up to leave as I had to get back to watching the real Lucas Gomes. It took me about 20 minutes to drive to the Secretariat and park the vehicle while I disguised myself with a hat and a face mask. I waited for half an hour before my target showed up. As he walked inside the phone booth, I got out of the car and stood outside the booth. As usual, the door was ajar and I heard a similar conversation. I looked disinterested as he came out and walked towards the food stall. Everything happened exactly like it did yesterday. The, only difference was, today I was aware of his identity.

At the end of the day, as I drove back home, I decided to confront the real Lucas Gomes the next day. The fake one had already sent me a message with an attached audio just like yesterday, but this time he didn’t sound as scared.
