Another milestone- 90 blogs completed!
There's a reason for calling my humble achievement 'nascent'....The most striking thing about the blogs between my Platinum post and this one is that I finally took the plunge and made my debut in the world of fiction.
Fiction is one genre I love reading. I have a grudging respect for those who write fiction. I was always holding back from going out of my comfort zone and taking this unfamiliar path. But the love and encouragement I received from all my readers made me confident enough to write fiction. Of course, it's fiction rooted in facts, so far. As I take baby steps into my favourite genre, I hope you all will hold my hand along the way....
A few lines about each story.....
'1. 'Just Coffee' was my maiden attempt at fiction. Although the beginning remained similar, I wrote 3 different versions of the story with totally different endings.
My first step into the world of fiction began with 'Just Coffee'. A story about a fangirl who coincidentally meets her celebrity crush, her favourite singer and learns about his 'husband'.
It was followed by 'The Encounter' where an ex Army officer, gains love and his lost confidence. The beginning is almost the same with a few changes here and there, but there's a twist midway and then the conclusion is totally different from 'Just Coffee'!
The third version is 'The Man in Black' which introduces Detective Jeon who will keep showing up to solve difficult and 'different' problems with ease!
My readers thoroughly enjoyed the 3 different flavours!
2. 'The Book Cafe' brought out the eternal romantic in me, my love for books and the dream to ,maybe, have my own book cafe someday!
3. 'The Package' was a mystery in 3 parts, with 2 completely different conclusions. Detective Jeon solved the case of the mysterious boxes beautifully wrapped but with spooky messages from an unknown sender!
4. 'Return to Sender' explores complexity of human relationships where two young women strike up a special everlasting bond!
5. 'The Clue' is another attempt at a murder mystery with Detective Jeon solving a difficult case with just his trusted instincts!
I'm still experimenting with fiction and trying to explore every human emotion possible. Do keep reading and encouraging me because I really need it!
I hope you enjoyed reading my stories as much as I enjoyed writing them!
I'm a huge Kpop fan and you might come across names and photos of Kpop idols in most of my stories. They are my muse and inspiration in so many ways. The incidents and characters are fictional and have no resemblance to any KPop idol in any manner.
