It's been about 3 months since Liam's parents passed away and about a month since the beautiful much awaited wedding of Jeon Jungkook with his first love, Minnie took place.
Alia had gone back to Australia with Aamir, Addy and Abby. Ira's classes at the kindergarten had started, so she went home too. Laila and Doc were having a baby soon!
Things were going back to normal now as Liam had reported back at the airlines and continued with his job. Leslie was busy with work too. They only met on weekends.
The newlyweds had a romantic honeymoon at the exotic Seychelles and got back to work. Minnie had moved in with husband Jeon and despite busy schedules, the couple made it a point to spend time together. Once a month they visited Minnie's parents without fail.
Liam and Leslie knew that their relationship being barely 3 months old, marriage wasn't really an option right now. But looking at the Jeons, they were waiting to get married so that they can stay together.
Slowly but surely Leslie's grounded and balanced nature had made Liam more confident and sure of himself and his feelings.She was the anchor that kept his life stable and afloat. Like an angel she had come into his life, when he was feeling totally lost and broken. She held him tight and saved him from drowning into the dark abyss of hopelessness and sadness. Leslie made him smile and become stronger.
Liam was head over heels in love with Leslie and his feelings didn't go unnoticed. It was Minnie who noticed it and told Jeon to have a candid man-to-man chat with his younger brother.
Jeon planned a weekend dinner at Jin's Bar and called Liam and Leslie over since all of them hadn't seen each other since the wedding. Jin and Dylan outdid themselves with a splendid Barbeque dinner with some customised cocktails and mocktails by Dylan. Robin and Sonya joined the gang and they had a whale of a time!
After dropping off Leslie, the Jeons went back home. Minnie went to the bedroom while Jeon followed Liam to his room, so they could chat. Though not related by blood, Liam was very close to Jeon. Being older and more mature, Jeon spoilt him silly and even taught him life's tough lessons, guided him and was his sounding board when required.
The brothers sat down on the bed hugging each other, Liam closed his eyes, feeling reassured and secure in his older brother's embrace. They had lost their beloved parents but they had each other, no matter what!
Jeon- Baby brother, what's up with Leslie? Are you guys seriously dating?
Liam- Yes....JK, we love each other so much and we really want to be together! But we feel it's too early! We hardly know each other....
Jeon- Believe me, even 10 years of 'knowing each other ' doesn't compare to 'being together'!! I don't know how I ever lived without Minnie by my side! If you and Leslie are serious about marriage, it can happen as soon as Alia can join us!
Liam- Really??? You are the best bro!
Jeon cringed as Liam kissed his cheek which made them both laugh. With a kiss on Liam's forehead, Jeon went back to his bedroom.
Of course Alia was only too excited about another wedding! But due to the children's exams, she couldn't be there for another 2 months! Since Leslie had no parents or siblings, Jeon and Alia decided that the wedding would take place after 2 months and Jeon would give Leslie away in lieu of her father.
After a spring wedding, the upcoming Autumn wedding was something everyone was looking forward to! Preparations were underway for a classy wedding, as Capt Roy had offered his beautiful mansion as the venue. The girls- Alia, Minnie, Ira, Tanya and Laila were assisted by Jin and Dylan this time to make it an event to remember! Leslie and Liam had a 'rocking' wedding,according to Addy and Abby, followed by a honeymoon fully funded by Jeon, but planned intricately by Liam.
