Do you believe in God? They ask me . I say," Of course I do!" They ask if I pray in a temple. I say I don't. A mosque? Or a church? I say I don't. They ask if I read the Bible? I say I don't. The Gita? Or the Quran? I say I don't. They ask if I perhaps worship fire. I say I don't. Idols then? Or holy book? I say I don't. They ask if I believe in Allah. I say I don't. Christ? Krishna? Shiva? I say I don't. They ask me if I really believe in God. I say , " Of course I do! The supreme power..... which explains the unexplained, which manifests in every beautiful creation, which is untouched, unheard, unseen... Yet it's all around for us to find, to feel... My faith and belief in God needs no incense, no flowers, no loud songs of devotion, no signs or symbol, no particular colour, no oil lamps or temple visits, no chants, no priest... I'm no Atheist. I believe in God. I say my prayers every day, thanking God for this life.... for every morning, for every day that goes by. I wish no ill,
I speak no lies, I love and care, I believe in God's power and trust that everything happens for a reason.... for good.... I believe in God without conditions, doubts or questions or asking for proof..... My belief may not be the same as you, or him, or her.... My faith isn't yours to analyse, compare or belittle.... For me, God is neither a man nor a woman... God doesn't dwell in the East or West... But within me. My faith needs nothing but a heart that believes, in highs and lows, in life and death, in joy and sorrow, That God is watching me and is with me, within me, Always....
